Santoku knife Miyabi 5000MCD, 18cm. The top-of-the-line MIYABI Birchwood is a work of culinary art.
Both the blade and the handle are made of the most expensive materials, which creates their striking appearance. More than meets the eye, the durable SG2 microcarbide powder steel core is protected by 100 layers of steel. MIYABI's innovative ice-hardening process ensures the CRYODUR blades remain sharp for a long time. Beneath the beautiful outer coating, a Damascus floral pattern provides additional durability.
The scalpel-like blade is complemented by an equally striking Karelian (Masurian) birch handle. Karelian birch, a valuable material for knife handles, is also the only wood ever used in a Fabergé egg.
Refined and ergonomic, MIYABI birch wood knives feel as good as they look. Handmade in Seki, Japan.
