Material

• Made from 100% European platinum silicone. Unlike conventional molds, Starflex series silicone incorporates metal particles that improve heat conduction and thus reduce baking time without affecting the taste.

Temperature resistance

• The pan is suitable for use in ovens up to +230°C, as well as for use in microwaves and freezers.

Use and care

• It is recommended to grease the flexible mold only once – before the very first use.
• The pan is safe for washing in a dishwasher.
• It is flexible (without a hard frame), allowing for easy storage by folding or compressing it, yet it retains its original shape.

Tips for baking bread in this pan

• Stability: Since silicone is flexible, bread dough (especially heavier rye or whole grain dough) can cause the pan to bulge slightly at the sides. To ensure a beautiful and straight loaf, place the pan on a solid baking sheet before putting the dough in.
• Removal: The manufacturer promises a "non-stick" effect, but for homemade bread (especially if using sourdough), for safety's sake, you can lightly grease the pan with oil or sprinkle it with seeds/flakes the first few times.
• Cooling: It's best to remove the bread from the pan 5–10 minutes after taking it out of the oven. Silicone cools quickly, but leaving the bread in the pan for too long can cause the bottom to become moist from condensation.
