The Zwilling 33781-204-0 is a ZWILLING All * Star series chef's knife with a 20 cm (8 inch) long blade. This model is part of the manufacturer's modern series, which combines traditional German quality with contemporary design and personalization options.
Main Features
Blade
- 20 cm long, made from a special composition of one-piece stainless steel, using the SIGMAFORGE forging method.
- The blade is treated with FRIODUR ice-hardening technology, which ensures excellent sharpness, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.
Design
- The knife stands out with an elegant silver-colored logo on the handle's end cap.
- The entire All * Star series is characterized by 100% plastic-free packaging.
Ergonomics
- It features a newly designed ergonomic handle that provides a comfortable grip and reduces fatigue during prolonged use.
Application
- A versatile kitchen tool suitable for cutting meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits, as well as mincing herbs.
Technical Specification
- Hardness: 55-58 HRC (Rockwell scale).
- Blade angle: V-grind for precise cutting.
- Dimensions: Overall length is approximately 33.8 cm, width 2 cm, and height 5 cm.
- Weight: Approximately 0.2 kg.
Care Instructions
Washing
- Although the manufacturer states that they are dishwasher safe, hand washing is strongly recommended. Aggressive detergents and heat in the dishwasher can damage the steel and dull the blade.
Drying
- After washing, immediately dry the knife with a soft cloth to avoid water spots or the risk of corrosion.
Sharpening
- To maintain sharpness, regularly use a honing steel. If the knife has become very dull, it is recommended to use a professional sharpening stone or consult a specialist.
Cutting Surface
- Use wooden or high-quality plastic cutting boards. Avoid glass, stone, or metal surfaces, as they will instantly damage the blade's cutting edge.
Storage
- Store the knife in a magnetic holder, knife block, or special sheath to prevent the blade from coming into contact with other utensils.
