With its aesthetic hammered finish, the Miyabi 6000MCT bread knife makes it clear from the start that it is more than just an ordinary knife.
Ultra-hard steel with a hardness of 63 HRC , ice-hardened and hand-sharpened using the Honbazuke process, creates an extremely hard and extremely sharp blade. It also has an elegant pakka wood handle with a specially designed shape for perfect balance and maximum comfort, rounded off with a stainless steel tip.
- The bread knife has a pronounced serrated edge to easily cut through hard crusts.
- Made in Japan – handmade in Japan's forging center Seki
- Hammer-finished blade, processed using the traditional Tsuchime process
- Elegant Pakkawood handle – provides excellent comfort while cutting
- The blade core is made of ultra-hard microcarbide powder steel MC63 – surrounded by two additional steel layers
- Ice-hardened: for high corrosion resistance and blade durability
- The blade is hand-sharpened using the traditional Honbazuke method, at an angle of 9.5° to 12°
